Role Overview

The Designer supports the creative development and execution of design concepts across interior décor, styling, visual branding, and client projects. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with a strong design eye, creativity, and a desire to grow within a hands-on, project-driven design environment.

The Designer collaborates with senior designers and installation teams to translate ideas into visual concepts, layouts, and styled environments that align with InkyUnique’s luxury aesthetic.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing design concepts, mood boards, and visual themes
• Support space planning, décor selection, and styling recommendations
• Create basic design layouts, sketches, or digital mockups as directed
• Coordinate with installers and stylists during project execution
• Help source décor, materials, furnishings, and accessories
• Support revisions based on client or creative feedback
• Maintain organized project files, inspiration boards, and references

Qualifications (Entry-Level)

• Strong interest in interior design, décor, or visual styling
• Creative eye for color, texture, balance, and spatial aesthetics
• Ability to follow creative direction and design guidelines
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative team

Tools & Skills (Basic or Willing to Learn)

• Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
• Pinterest, mood boards, or visual concept development
• Basic understanding of design principles and trends

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Interior design coursework or certification
• Experience assisting on design, décor, or staging projects
• Social media, branding, or photography experience
